Designation Manager IT
Job Description Design and development of IT Applications:


1.Engaging with business to understand the business processes, issues and pain points, and IT requirement.

2.Working in Joint Application Development (JAD) team including users to deliver IT projects within budgeted cost, timeline and Quality

3.Participating in the Software Application Development life-cycle from creating new applications, maintaining and enhancing them up to the phasing out of the applications.

4.Planning, managing, supervising work complying with CQA and Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 20000, ISO 27001)


Support and Maintenance of IT systems and solutions:


1.Sustaining and enhancing cost-effective IT solutions

2.Maintaining and improving SLAs with business


IT Architecture & Technical support:


1.Exploring NEW technology solution relevant to business

2.Partnering with OEMs, IT Services and Solution providers

Desired Profile 1.Application Development experience of minimum 2 years with proficiency in specification writing, ability to understand customer needs, communicate and coordinate with multiple agencies and expertise in at least 2 programming environments (viz Java / dot Net, ABAP, Lotus Notes, PL/SQL, D2K, ADF, Oracle DBA)
2.Good working knowledge of System Development Life Cycle

3.Business Process (Domain) Knowledge

4.Ability to align IT to Business Process

5.Prior experience of IT support / consultancy in setting up of IT infrastructure in a Steel industry will be considered as an added advantage.
